(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah lawmakers are remembering country music legend Dolly Parton following her death yesterday at 80 years old. Republican Senator Mike Lee called Parton an “angelic musical phenomenon.” Republican Representative Mike Kennedy praised her talent, spirit and generosity to generations of Americans. President Donald Trump has also ordered flags across the country lowered to half-staff in Parton’s honor. They will remain lowered for one week.
