Utah Records Over 270 Fires So Far This Year

(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah has now recorded over 270 fires so far this year. That’s less than the number recorded at the same time last year. But it comes as a drought is increasing fears of a busy fire season. The Sawmill Fire in Iron County has doubled in size to over two-thousand acres. It’s burning near the towns of Beryl and Lund.
