Tower Fire Up To 1,000 Acres; Two Fires In Saratoga Springs

(Scipio, UT) — Part of State Route 50 is closed down as the Tower Fire grows to one-thousand acres in Millard County. It broke out yesterday afternoon near Interstate 15 next to the town of Scipio. Meanwhile, near Saratoga Springs, the Stillwater Fire is now over 30 acres. It’s one of two fires that were sparked by target practice this weekend in the Saratoga Springs area. Officials say warm, dry and windy conditions are not a great time for outdoor shooting.
