(St. George, UT) — A fire weather watch is being issued for much of Southern Utah starting tomorrow at 12 noon. The National Weather Service says conditions will be dry, warm and windy. Humidity could drop into the single digits over the next day and winds might top out at 40 miles-per-hour. Today’s high in St. George should break 100, but it’ll be in the 90s tomorrow. Still, any new or existing fires could rapidly spread. Everyone is asked to be especially careful and keep an eye out for dangerous behavior that could start a fire.
