Suspect In Deadly LDS Shooting Extradited From California

(Salt Lake City, UT) — The suspect in a deadly shooting outside of an LDS church in Salt Lake City is back in Utah. John Vea Usaike, Jr. has been extradited from California, where he was arrested on two counts of murder and other charges. Two people were killed and several others were injured when a dispute spilled outside of the meeting house on North Redwood Road after a funeral back in January. Two other men were previously arrested in connection with the case.
