(Salt Lake City, UT) — The head of the Utah company that was targeted in a nationwide hack is apologizing. Instructure CEO Steve Daly addressed the cyberattack on the Canvas educational software that’s used by schools across America. He said the system is now back online and they’re trying to figure out how the hackers were able to take it down last week. In their online message, the hackers implied that they wanted money or they’d release information connected to students. Daly says that information includes names, emails, enrollment information and messages.
