MANTI, Utah-Drew Kesler and Peyton Barney homered and the Union Cougars blanked Manti 9-0 in Region 13 softball play Monday. Haylee Moynier netted 18 strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Cougars.

3A Semifinals @ Zions Bank Stadium
HERRIMAN, Utah-Zeke Snow scored a pair of goals and the No. 1 Ogden Tigers doubled up No. 5 Logan 2-1 Monday in the 3A state boys soccer semifinals at Zions Bank Stadium. Ogden next faces No. 3 Morgan May 11 at 2:00 pm at Zions Bank Stadium for the 3A state championship.

2A Semifinals @ Zions Bank Stadium
HERRIMAN, Utah-Denzel Sono-Koree, Donnel Sono-Koree, Noah Johnson and Nathan Bowler each scored and the No. 1 Maeser Prep Lions blew past No. 4 American Heritage 4-0 Monday in the 2A boys soccer state semifinals at Zions Bank Stadium. Mahonri Alcazar recorded the shutout in the net in victory for the Lions. The Lions will play No. 3 Rowland Hall May 11 at 11:00 am for the 2A state championship at Zions Bank Stadium.
HERRIMAN, Utah-Miles Li scored twice and the No. 3 Rowland Hall Winged Lions upset No. 2 Waterford 2-1 in the 2A boys soccer state semifinals at Zions Bank Stadium Monday.
