A Mt. Pleasant man has pleaded guilty to enticing a minor through text messages. Bradford Bentley, a former North Sanpete High School teacher, entered the guilty plea to the Class A misdemeanor at his initial appearance on Wednesday. Bentley sent sexually enticing texts to a 16-year old student earlier this year, and following an investigation by the Sanpete County Sheriff’s Office, one charge of enticing a minor through text was filed. Bentley was fired after school district officials learned of the text messages. Judge Wallace Lee ordered a pre-sentence investigation and sentencing is scheduled for September 12.
