Multiple earthquakes shook the eastern parts of Millard County early Apr. 19. According to a press release from the Millard County Sheriff’s Office, there were a series of minor earthquakes, none of which reached or exceeded a Richter scale of 4.0. While minor, they were strong enough for some to feel the shaking. No damage or injuries were reported. It was also shared, “our emergency management system is monitoring the situation…we do not currently have any information that suggests that the situation will worsen but are taking a posture of best readiness.”
