(Salt Lake City, UT) — President Trump is reportedly asking for one-billion-dollars to restore the Great Salt Lake. Governor Spencer Cox announced the news Friday on social media. He says the federal money would be used to “accelerate water flows, restore ecosystems, tackle invasive species, and address toxic dust.” Cox called the request “historic” saying, quote, “we’re going to fill the lake.”
