KANAB, Utah-Davis Carter drove in four runs and the Beaver Beavers blanked Gunnison Valley 10-0 Thursday at the Chuckwagon Classic at Kanab High School. Tyge Blomquist netted four strikeouts in four innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Beavers.

KANAB, Utah-Zach Blackham drove in four runs and the Manti Templars smoked American Leadership 13-1 at Kanab High School Thursday at the Chuckwagon Classic. Kellen Lund posted four strikeouts in three innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Templars. Korver Swenson drove in a run in defeat for the Eagles.

KANAB, Utah-Kanon Virostko’s grand slam led the way and the Kanab Cowboys got past Morgan 9-8 Thursday to conclude the first day of the Chuckwagon Classic at Kanab High School. Kyan Lyman posted four strikeouts in 2.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Cowboys. Marcus Trease and Owen Gilson drove in three runs apiece in the loss for the Trojans.

Pine View Tournament @ Pine View High School

ST. GEORGE, Utah-Chipper Hawes and Ethan Higgs homered and the Bear River Bears smoked South Sevier 12-2 at the Pine View Tournament Thursday.

Region 15

COALVILLE, Utah-Rylee Bartholomew drove in three runs and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs blanked North Summit 15-0 Thursday in Region 15 softball play. Brylee Wojtech netted seven strikeouts in three innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Bulldogs.

Non-Region

BLUFFDALE, Utah-Joslyn Christiansen homered and the Delta Rabbits decimated Summit Academy 34-3 in non-region softball play Thursday. Harper Bloomfield’s six strikeouts in three innings of work earned the win in the circle for the Rabbits.

ST. GEORGE, Utah-Layla London drove in a pair of runs and the Dixie Flyers edged Millard 4-3 Thursday in non-region softball play. London recorded 11 strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win in the circle for Dixie. Jansie Chlarson drove in two runs in the loss for the Eagles.

ST. GEORGE, Utah-Genevieve Evans drove in five runs and the Pine View Panthers overpowered Milford 15-9 in non-region softball play Thursday. Stahley Beebe and Krymzen Williams drove in two runs apiece in defeat for the Tigers.

ENTERPRISE, Utah-Amos McAllister scored a pair of goals and the Enterprise Wolves blanked Beaver 4-0 Thursday in 2A South boys soccer play. Ben Liebetrau earned the shutout in the net for the Wolves.
