2A State Tournament @ UCCU Center (UVU)
State Championship Game
OREM, Utah-Raidon Barney netted 21 points and 12 rebounds and the No. 4 South Sevier Rams dismantled No. 6 South Summit 59-44 to win the 2A state championship Wednesday at the UCCU Center on the campus of Utah Valley University. Maddox Welch’s 17 points on 7/12 from the floor and 1/1 from range led the Wildcats in the loss. This is South Sevier’s 12th all-time state title in boys basketball and breaks a 14-year drought. The Rams have state titles in boys basketball in 1951, 1954, 1964, 1965, 1970, 1984, 2000, 2001, 2006, 2011, 2012 and 2026.
3rd-4th Place Game
OREM, Utah-Kyle Brown recorded 17 points on 6/11 from the floor and 4/5 behind the arc as the No. 1 Kanab Cowboys surged past No. 7 Gunnison Valley 62-54 at the UCCU Center on the campus of Utah Valley University Wednesday to secure third place. Landry Edwards netted 16 points on 6/10 from the floor and 3/4 from range in defeat for the Bulldogs.
5th-6th Place Game
OREM, Utah-Cooper Crockett netted 21 points and 14 rebounds on 8/14 from the floor and 4/6 behind the arc as the No. 3 ALA Eagles outlasted No. 5 Rowland Hall 70-67 to secure 5th place in the 2A state tournament Wednesday at the UCCU Center on the campus of Utah Valley University. Jevin Miller’s 19 points led the Winged Lions in defeat.
Girls Basketball

State Championship Game
OREM, Utah-Rylee Little netted 17 points and 12 rebounds on 8/11 from the floor and the No. 1 Kanab Cowboys dismantled No. 3 Enterprise 54-29 to win the 2A state girls basketball championship Wednesday at the UCCU Center on the campus of Utah Valley University. Bentlee Rogers led the Wolves in the loss with 8 points. This was Kanab’s 5th all-time state championship in girls basketball. The Cowboys have state championships in girls basketball in 1992, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2026.
3rd-4th Place Game
OREM, Utah-Ellie Stephens posted 13 points and 12 rebounds on 5/10 from the floor and the No. 4 North Summit Braves achieved third place with a 53-45 win over No. 2 Beaver Wednesday at the UCCU Center on the campus of Utah Valley University. Danzee Bradshaw netted 18 points and 8 rebounds on 7/14 from the floor and 4/6 from range in defeat for the Beavers.
5th-6th Place Game
OREM, Utah-Blakelie Davies posted 16 points and 6 rebounds and the No. 7 Millard Eagles downed the No. 5 Duchesne Eagles 45-39 Wednesday at the UCCU Center on the campus of Utah Valley University to achieve 5th place in the 2A state tournament. Lexie Davenport’s 14 points and 6 rebounds on 5/9 from the floor led the Duchesne Eagles in the loss.
