(Salt Lake City, UT) — A three judge federal panel has rejected a Republican effort to overturn the congressional map that’s set to be used in this year’s elections. The judges from the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals issued their decision yesterday. That comes a few days after the Utah Supreme Court also refused to overturn the map. The current map creates a district in Salt Lake City that favors Democrats. The GOP wants to implement a map that gives Republicans an advantage in every Utah district.
