OREM, Utah-Raidon Barney netted 27 points and 12 rebounds on 11/21 from the floor and the No. 4 South Sevier Rams dismantled No. 5 Rowland Hall 65-48 Monday in the 2A state quarterfinals at the UCCU Center on the campus of Utah Valley University. Landen Brady’s 15 points and 8 rebounds on 6/9 from the floor led the Winged Lions in the loss. South Sevier next faces No. 1 Kanab Tuesday at 7:30 pm in the state semifinals at the UCCU Center. The Winged Lions next face No. 9 San Juan Tuesday at 12:50 pm in the consolation bracket.

OREM, Utah-Kyle Brown’s 15 points led the way and the No. 1 Kanab Cowboys outlasted No. 9 San Juan 53-50 in the 2A state quarterfinals at the UCCU Center Monday. Cole Duke posted 16 points and 7 rebounds on 7/13 from the floor in defeat for the Broncos.

OREM, Utah-Talan Dyreng netted 22 points and 7 rebounds on 7/10 from the floor and  No. 7 Gunnison Valley upset No. 2 North Summit 68-65 Monday at the UCCU Center in the 2A state quarterfinals. Daxton Knudsen added 20 points and 18 rebounds on 9/15 from the floor in vivctory for the Bulldogs. Tayton Pace’s 18 points led the Braves in the loss. Gunnison Valley next faces No. 6 South Summit Tuesday at 9:10 pm in the state semifinals at the UCCU Center. North Summit faces No. 3 ALA Tuesday at 2:30 pm in the consolation bracket.L

OREM, Utah-Maddox Welch netted 16 points and 9 rebounds on 6/8 from the floor and 1/2 from range as the No. 6 South Summit Wildcats upset No. 3 ALA 54-51 Monday in the 2A state quarterfinals at the UCCU Center. Cooper Crockett’s 20 points on 9/17 from the floor led the Eagles in the loss.

OREM, Utah-Jaycee Barlow’s 19 points and 15 rebounds led the way and the No. 3 Enterprise Wolves overpowered No. 6 Draper APA 57-46 in the 2A state quarterfinals Monday at the UCCU Center. Hadlee Holt added 15 points and 14 rebounds on 9/15 from the floor in victory for the Wolves. Lexi LeRoy posted 12 points in the loss for the Eagles. Enterprise next faces No. 2 Beaver Tuesday at 5:50 pm in the state semifinals at the UCCU Center. Draper APA next draws No. 7 Millard Tuesday at 9:30 am in the consolation bracket.

Madi Adams recorded 15 points on 3/3 behind the arc and 6/6 at the foul line for the Broncos in the loss. Kanab next faces No. 4 North Summit Tuesday at 4:10 pm in the state semifinals. San Juan next draws No. 5 Duchesne Tuesday at 11:10 am in the consolation bracket.
