Nephi Homeowners Sue Over Structural Issues In New Homes

(Nephi, UT) — Nearly two dozen homeowners have filed a lawsuit claiming serious structural problems in newly built homes in a Nephi community. The 22 families purchased homes in the Winn Ridge Community built between November 2022 and December 2023. The lawsuit names the construction company, the real estate firm and agents, and the geotechnical engineering company that surveyed the property. Homeowners allege the defendants knew soil conditions could cause structural damage but failed to address the risks or disclose them before the sales. The suit cites issues including foundation cracks. The homes sold for an average of 550-thousand-dollars.
