DELTA, Utah-Kobe Driggs netted 16 points and 6 rebounds on 7 of 11 from the floor and 2 of 3 behind the arc as the No. 6 Delta Rabbits outlasted No. 11 Carbon 57-53 Friday in the second round of the 3A state basketball playoffs. Cash Withers posted 13 points on 4 of 8 from range in defeat for the Dinos. The Rabbits next face No. 3 American Heritage Thursday at 2:30 pm in the state quarterfinals at Southern Utah University.

AMERICAN FORK, Utah-James Matsen led the way with 24 points and the No. 3 American Heritage Patriots pounded No. 14 North Sanpete 79-43 in the second round of the 3A state basketball playoffs Friday. Bryce Swapp led the Hawks in the loss with 19 points.

OGDEN, Utah-Tayson Porter posted 24 points and the No. 7 Ogden Tigers waxed No. 10 Manti 61-45 Friday in the second round of the 3A state basketball playoffs. Stone Mortensen led the Templars with 16 points in defeat. Ogden next faces No. 2 Richfield Thursday at 12:50 pm in the state quarterfinals at Southern Utah University.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Jorgen Southwick recorded 25 points and the No. 2 Richfield Wildcats decimated No. 15 Providence Hall 75-28 in the second round of the 3A state basketball playoffs Friday. Ryker Jones led the Patriots in defeat with 10 points.

MORGAN, Utah-Bracken Saunders led the way with 26 points and the No. 1 Morgan Trojans clobbered No. 16 Ben Lomond 89-46 Friday in the second round of the 3A state basketball playoffs. Taggart Bush led the Scots in the loss with 18 points. Morgan next faces No. 8 Canyon View Thursday at 11:10 am in state quarterfinals at Southern Utah University.

CEDAR CITY, Utah-Jeter Sanders netted 25 points and the No. 8 Canyon View Falcons surged past No. 9 Union 71-62 in the second round of the 3A state basketball playoffs Friday. Compton Anderson led the Cougars in the loss with a game-high 30 points.

NEPHI, Utah-Brigham Mouritsen stepped up with 15 points and No. 12 Grantsville upset No. 5 Juab 60-54 Friday in the second round of the 3A state basketball playoffs. Kai Cuff led the Wasps in the loss with a game-high 19 points. Grantsville next faces No. 4 Emery Thursday at 9:30 pm in the state quarterfinals at Southern Utah University.

CASTLE DALE, Utah-Brek Griffin led the way with 26 points and the No. 4 Emery Spartans got past No. 13 Logan 60-55 in the second round of the 3A state basketball playoffs Friday. Ethan Woolley led the Grizzlies in defeat with 16 points.

KANAB, Utah-The No. 1 Kanab Cowboys lassoed No. 16 Waterford 71-55 Friday in the second round of the 2A state basketball playoffs. Camden Judd led the Ravens in the loss with 13 points. Kanab next faces No. 9 San Juan February 23 at 11:10 am in the state quarterfinals at Utah Valley University.

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah-Jagger Nieves stepped up with 23 points and the No. 9 San Juan Broncos surged past No. 8 APA West Valley 77-66 in the second round of the 2A state basketball playoffs Friday. Aamir Mohamed led the Eagles in defeat with a game-high 28 points.

COALVILLE, Utah-Tayton Pace led the way with 26 points and 10 rebounds and the No. 2 North Summit Braves smoked No. 15 Duchesne 66-48 Friday in the second round of the 2A state basketball playoffs. Rhett Clayburn’s 10 points led the Eagles in the loss. North Summit next faces No. 7 Gunnison Valley February 23 at Utah Valley University in the state quarterfinals at 12:50 pm.

GUNNISON, Utah-Braxton Pickett posted 18 points and the No. 7 Gunnison Valley Bulldogs outlasted No. 10 Parowan 59-54 in the second round of the 2A state basketball playoffs Friday. Tate Stubbs led the Rams in the loss with 22 points.

SPANISH FORK, Utah-Jakobe Ross netted 15 points and the No. 3 ALA Eagles got past No. 14 Beaver 48-45 Friday in the second round of the 2A state basketball playoffs. Schevion Ormsby led the Beavers in the loss with 14 points. ALA next faces No. 6 South Summit February 23 at 2:30 pm in the state quarterfinals at Utah Valley University.

KAMAS, Utah-Maddox Welch posted 23 points and No. 6 South Summit smoked No. 11 Draper APA 70-49 in the second round of the 2A state basketball playoffs Friday. Jones Strong led the Eagles in defeat with 14 points.

MONROE, Utah-Raidon Barney led the way with 19 points and the No. 4 South Sevier Rams overpowered No. 13 Enterprise 48-34 Friday in the second round of the 2A state basketball playoffs. Carter Hardman led the Wolves with 15 points in the loss. The Rams next face No. 5 Rowland Hall February 23 at 10:00 am in the state quarterfinals at Utah Valley University.

SALT LAKE CITY-Jevin Miller posted 24 points and the No. 5 Rowland Hall Winged Lions soared past No. 12 Millard 74-58 in the second round of the 2A state basketball playoffs Friday. Derk Memmott and Brogen Blad scored 11 points apiece in the loss for the Eagles.

PANGUITCH, Utah-Trenton Virga’s 21 points led the way and No. 4 Panguitch overpowered No. 2 Wayne 66-58 Friday in the Region 20 Tournament championship game. Hunter Robins led the Badgers in the loss with 21 points and 13 rebounds.

PANGUITCH, Utah-Clay Gray’s 19 points led the way and No. 5 Bryce Valley achieved 5th place at the Region 20 Tournament with an 83-60 win over No. 6 Water Canyon Friday. Kairo Barlow led the Wildcats in the loss with 17 points.

3rd Place Game

PANGUITCH, Utah-Bostyn Randall led the way with 13 points and the No. 4 Valley Buffalos waxed No. 3 Piute 35-28 Friday. Kinlie Frost led the Buffalos with 9 points in the loss.

5th Place Game

PANGUITCH, Utah-Jaidyn McMullin recorded 22 points and the No. 5 Milford Tigers bested No. 6 Escalante 61-55 Friday. Rylee Frei led the Moquis in defeat with 21 points.
