BLANDING, Utah-Tripp Palmer led the way with 22 points and the San Juan Broncos dismantled Beaver 62-43 Saturday in Region 18 boys basketball play. Emmet Lurth, Myka Cluff and Davis Carter led the Beavers with 8 points apiece in the loss.

JUNCTION, Utah-Blake Gleave posted 21 points and the Piute Thunderbirds waxed Millard 61-52 in non-region boys basketball play Saturday. Derk Memmott led the Eagles in the loss with 21 points.
ESCALANTE, Utah-Jackson Keyes netted 15 points and the Monticello Buckaroos got past Escalante 66-60 Saturday in non-region boys basketball play. Jaxen Cottam’s game-high 23 points led the Moquis in the loss.

Region 15
SALINA, Utah-Megan Mecham amassed 17 points and the Millard Eagles doubled up North Sevier 68-34 in Region 15 girls basketball play Saturday. Blakelie Davies led the Eagles in the loss with 22 points.

ORDERVILLE, Utah-Kloe Crofts led the way with 15 points and the Valley Buffalos bested Monument Valley 56-51 in non-region girls basketball play Saturday. Nesbah Hunt led the Cougars in defeat with 15 points.
ESCALANTE, Utah-Rylee Frei’s 18 points led the way and the Escalante Moquis got past Monticello 43-39 Saturday in non-region girls basketball play.
