PRICE, Utah-Friday, the USU-Eastern Utah athletic department announced that forward Petr Ropek signed a letter of intent with NAIA Menlo College of Atherton, Calif.

Ropek,  a Czech national who averaged 5 points and 2.5 rebounds per game last season, played one season with the Eagles, helping the team reach the XVIII tournament semifinals in March.

Ropek previously played at ASA College in Brooklyn, N.Y. before coming to Price.

Ropek is currently the fourth Eagle from last season’s men’s basketball squad to sign with a four-year institution.
