JUNCTION, Utah-Brodee Montague posted 24 points and the Piute Thunderbirds downed Beaver 65-54 Tuesday in non-region boys basketball play. Schevion Ormsby led the Beavers in the loss with 19 points.
GUNNISON, Utah-Braxton Pickett’s 19 points led the way and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs downed North Sanpete 69-64 in non-region boys basketball play Tuesday. James Clayton’s game-high 28 points led the Hawks in the loss.

SALINA, Utah-Megan Mecham stepped up with 14 points and the North Sevier Wolves clobbered Parowan 52-10 Tuesday in non-region girls basketball play. Wylee Renzello led the Rams in defeat with 6 points.
