A missing couple was located after a search in Millard County. Late Nov. 5, the Millard County Sheriff’s Office was contacted when a family had not heard from their parents, a 72-year-old male and 68-year-old female who had likely gone to the west desert area. According to a press release, “after a preliminary search, it was determined a better effort could be made the following morning due to the vastness of the potential area.” The next morning, Sheriff’s Office deputies, Millard County Search and Rescue, air assets from the Civil Air Patrol and Department of Public Safety all responded to help with the search. Family members of the couple located them walking toward the highway. According to the release, “their vehicle had a mechanical failure. Thankfully the couple had planned ahead and had proper supplies to sustain themselves in case of such an emergency.”
