(Orem, UT) — The man accused of killing conservative activist Charlie Kirk will be allowed to wear street clothes during his trial. A Utah judge ruled today that Tyler Robinson is presumed innocent and that potential jurors seeing him in prison attire could be prejudicial. The ruling applies to all in-person hearings, with the next scheduled for January. Robinson will still be required to wear restraints in court, though the media is prohibited from showing them. He is accused of shooting and killing Kirk at a speaking event in September.
