(Sanpete County, UT) — Sanpete County authorities say a man accused of kidnapping a 12-year-old girl is facing new charges. Twenty-year-old Aiden Larsen was allegedly driving a truck with the child inside last week, but sped off when deputies approached him. The vehicle was eventually stopped and Larsen taken into custody. Larsen was previously charged in relation to the pursuit. But Friday, charges of kidnapping, child rape and theft by receiving a motor vehicle were added against him. Meanwhile the victim reportedly told police she left her home willingly, taking her grandfather’s truck to go meet Larsen.
