FRESNO, Calif.-Per Wednesday news, Manti High School football star defensive lineman Mac Olsen announced he has signed with Fresno State.

This season, Olsen has posted five sacks and 11 tackles for a loss on the season for the Templars, who are 5-3 (2-2 in 3A South play) and presently in fourth place in the 3A South standings.

Olsen and his Manti teammates return to action Friday at Carbon as the 3A South season ensues for both squads.

The Bulldogs are off to a strong start to the Mountain West season, incidentally as Fresno State is 5-1 overall and 2-0 in MWC play. The Bulldogs also return to action Friday by visiting Colorado State.
