EPHRAIM, Utah-Per news released this week, Snow College volleyball freshman setter Ema Thompson was named the SWAC Player of the Week.

Thompson, a former Northridge High School star out of Layton, Utah, helped the Badgers defeat No. 7 USU-Eastern Utah 3-1 Saturday, the Badgers’ first win at Price since 2019.

In the win over the Top 10 Eagles, Thompson recorded 16 assists and 12 digs.

Thompson has netted 455 assists, ranking her second in the SWAC and 37th nationally.

Thompson and her Snow teammates host North Idaho Friday as the SWAC season continues. This is the Badgers’ first home contest of the season.

Snow is 8-10 and 2-1 in SWAC play.
