(Fairview, UT) — A two-vehicle crash on US-89 in Fairview left one person dead and another with moderate injuries. Officials say the Tuesday collision involved a dump truck that lost control and crossed into the opposite lane near mile marker 293, striking a passenger car with a man and woman inside. The woman died from her injuries, while the man was hospitalized with moderate injuries. The Utah Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the dump truck losing control.
