EPHRAIM, Utah-Seth Rigtrup ran for 199 yards and three scores on 18 carries and the No. 13 Snow Badgers overpowered No. 15 Lackawanna (Pa.) 55-38 Saturday in non-conference football play at Robert Stoddard Field at Terry Foote Stadium. Jack Thow (12-25, 204 yards, 3 TD’s/INT), CJ Rabb III (4 rec, 116 yards, TD), Kael McCoy and Myles Peters (TD rec apiece) led a Badgers offense which amassed 409 yards. Defensively, Teni Worthen and Tayson Reid (interception apiece) and Marrio Williams Jr. and Salehe Koonooka-Williams (sack apiece) led Snow in victory. In the loss, the Falcons were led by Jacob Tiberi (29-52, 370 yards, 4 TD’s/2 INT’s), Hassan Akanbi (24 car, 101 yards; 2 rec TD’s) Khi’Lee Patterson (6 rec, 85 yards) and Carmelo Taylor (3 rec, 66 yards, TD).

RANGELY, Colo.-Hallie Layton posted 11 kills and the Snow Badgers waxed Colorado Northwestern 3-0 Saturday at Hefley Gym in SWAC women’s volleyball play. The Badgers decisively prevailed over the Spartans 25-9, 25-15, 25-13 to earn the straight sets victory.
