MANTI, Utah-Carter Mason completed 19 of 26 passes for 345 yards and five scores as the Manti Templars routed Juab 52-19 in the 3A South opener for both squads Friday. Isaac Crowther (4 rec, 136 yards, 2 scores) also excelled for Manti in the victory. Price Armstrong (16-38, 245 yards, 2 TD’s/3 INT’s) led the Wasps in the loss.

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Colton White ran for a pair of scores and the Richfield Wildcats doubled up North Sanpete 28-14 Friday in 3A South football play. Cordon White threw a 3-yard touchdown pass to Nash Spell and Temana Vaukatakakala blocked a kick for another score in the win for Richfield. Maddox Madsen threw a pair of touchdown passes to Chaetton Osborne in the loss for the Hawks.

KANAB, Utah-Hayden Gubler ran for a pair of scores and the Kanab Cowboys lassoed Millard 48-14 in non-region football play Friday. Connor Stevens threw two touchdown passes in the loss for the Eagles.

SALINA, Utah-Jake Christensen ran for two scores and returned an interception for another touchdown as the Enterprise Wolves routed North Sevier 36-8 Friday in non-region football play. Stephan Williams ran for a 38-yard touchdown in the loss for the North Sevier Wolves.

MONROE, Utah-Hudson Flinders ran for two scores and Rayce Freeman caught a touchdown pass and returned an interception for another score as the South Sevier Rams clobbered Providence Hall 54-0 Friday in non-region football play.

DUCHESNE, Utah-Nashden Goodliffe threw a touchdown pass and ran for another score and the Duchesne Eagles edged Beaver 24-23 in non-region football play Friday. Davin Orton threw a touchdown pass and ran for another score in the loss for the Beavers.

MILFORD, Utah-Carson Cheney and Kyzler Merryweather ran for scores and the Milford Tigers blanked Gunnison Valley 21-0 Friday in non-region football play. Boston Sullivan returned an interception 30 yards for another score in victory for Milford.

TROPIC, Utah-Mason Ahlstrom drove in three runs and the Bryce Valley Mustangs edged Valley 5-4 in 1A South baseball play Friday. Antonio Moreno netted 10 strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Bryce Valley. Payson Harris drove in a pair of runs in the loss for the Buffalos.

JUNCTION, Utah-Nash Fautin and Braige Beus drove in three runs apiece and the Piute Thunderbirds edged Wayne 12-11 Friday in 1A South baseball play. Blake Peterson, Hunter Robins and Teagan Flanagan drove in three runs apiece in the loss for the Badgers.
