Seventy-five people have officially filed for mayor or city council positions in cities and towns throughout Sanpete County for the 2025 municipal elections. Forty-two positions are open and each city and town has at least its mayor and two council seats up for election. Ten mayoral candidates will run unopposed. Five of the municipalities will hold primary elections including Ephraim, Manti, Fairview, Spring City and Wales.
