(Springdale, UT) — Zion National Park is expecting larger-than-usual crowds this weekend. The park is preparing for the extended Memorial Day holiday weekend, saying visitors should prepare for long lines at entrances and lengthy waits to get on shuttles. Visitors should also expect heavy traffic in the area, and temporary closures at vehicle entrance stations could take place. More than 92 thousand visits were recorded during last year’s Memorial Day weekend.
