One person is hospitalized after a crash in Sevier County. The crash occurred at the intersection of SR-118 and SR-258. According to Utah Highway Patrol Lt. Jason Kelsey, “vehicle one entered the left turn lane, and for an unknown reason, turned left in front of vehicle two. Vehicle two was unable to stop in time and collided with the passenger side of vehicle one. Vehicle two rolled at least one time and came to a rest partially on top of vehicle one.” Both vehicles only had one occupant, and the driver of the second vehicle did not receive any injuries. The driver of the first vehicle was not wearing a seatbelt and had to be extricated, and was transported to Sevier Valley Hospital before being flown by helicopter to Utah Valley. No other information has been released at this time.
