(Salt Lake City, UT) — A referendum to challenge the public sector collective bargaining ban, HB-267, will appear on the 2026 ballot after enough signatures were verified by the Salt Lake County Clerk’s Office. The Protect Utah Workers coalition, which gathered over 300-thousand signatures, celebrated the milestone in a statement yesterday. The group spent a month collecting signatures for the referendum, marking a significant victory in their effort to reverse the ban.
