MANTI, Utah-Tazj Hill drove in six runs and the Manti Templars routed Delta 12-2 Friday in Region 12 baseball play. Hill recorded  six strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Templars. Kyler Davies drove in a run in defeat for the Rabbits.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Easton Stoker drove in two runs and the Emery Spartans stymied Richfield 9-3 in Region 12 baseball play Friday. Hayden Abrams posted nine strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Spartans. Slate Reitz drove in two runs in defeat for the Wildcats.

PRICE, Utah-Luke Maricosta and Trevin Park homered and the Juab Wasps pounded Carbon 10-2 Friday in Region 12 baseball play. Austin Park posted 11 strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Wasps. Logan Madrigal drove in a run in defeat for the Dinos.

CEDAR CITY, Utah-Zach Maine homered and the Canyon View Falcons stonewalled North Sanpete 10-4 Friday in Region 12 baseball play. Chandler McClellan posted five strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Canyon View. Tyson Guidos, Maddex Bailey and Hudson Smith drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Hawks.

2A East

GUNNISON, Utah-Kason Brackett and TaLund Zufelt drove in two runs apiece and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs gashed North Sevier 7-1 in 2A East baseball play Friday. Braxton Pickett posted 12 strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bulldogs. Parker Jensen drove in a run for the Wolves in defeat.

2A West

BEAVER, Utah-Davion Orton drove in four runs and the Beaver Beavers waxed Milford 12-3 Friday in 2A West baseball play. Orton posted nine strikeouts in 5.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Beavers. Judd Netto, Jex Ashworth and Kason Kesler drove in a run in the loss for the Tigers.

FILLMORE, Utah-Kameron Hessey drove in four runs and the South Sevier Rams pounded Millard 18-0 in 2A West baseball play Friday. Kanyon Okerlund posted two strikeouts in two innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Rams.

Softball

Region 12

PRICE, Utah-Alexa Jones and Kennlee Kennedy drove in three runs apiece and the Carbon Dinos downed Delta 10-1 Friday in the first game of a Region 12 softball doubleheader. Danica Adams posted 13 strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win in the circle for Carbon.

PRICE, Utah-Kennlee Kennedy, Brailee Peterson and Sage Vea drove in three runs apiece and the Carbon Dinos came back to complete a Region 12 softball doubleheader sweep of Delta Friday. Fallon Johnson, Halle Topham and Vicki Robison drove in two runs apiece in the loss for the Rabbits.

2A South

MONROE, Utah-Kloe Donohue homered twice and Caitlin Nielson and Navey Lindsay also went yard as the South Sevier Rams clobbered Millard 16-1 Friday in 2A South softball play. Kaitlyn Lynch posted two strikeouts in four innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Rams.

2A Central

MOAB, Utah-Chloe Byrd, Kemree Wells and Hope Shumway drove in two runs apiece and the Grand Red Devils pummeled Gunnison Valley 12-5 Friday in the first game of a 2A Central softball doubleheader. Byrd posted 14 strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Red Devils. Rylee Bartholomew drove in three runs in the loss for the Bulldogs.

MOAB, Utah-Dawdree Olsen homered and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs secured a 2A Central softball doubleheader split against Grand with a 10-3 win over the Red Devils Friday. Maile Ha’o posted 10 strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win in the circle for Grand. Hope Shumway and Bailey Althoff drove in a run apiece in defeat for the Red Devils.

SALINA, Utah-Avery Taylor homered and the North Sevier Wolves pounded Piute 17-2 in 2A Central softball play Friday. Chloe Malmgren posted four strikeouts in three innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Wolves. Trinity Robinson drove in a run in defeat for the Thunderbirds.

Non-Region

ALTAMONT, Utah-Hadley Mecham and Kate Lindsay drove in two runs apiece and the Altamont Longhorns pounded Panguitch 12-2 Friday in the first game of a non-region softball doubleheader. Kiley Crapo posted 11 strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Longhorns. Kadee Harland drove in a run in the loss for the Bobcats.

ALTAMONT, Utah-Lacie Long homered and the Altamont Longhorns completed a non-region softball doubleheader sweep of Panguitch with a 13-1 win over the Bobcats Friday. Kiley Crapo recorded 11 strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win for the Longhorns in the circle.

MILFORD, Utah-Jaidyn McMullin drove in four runs and the Milford Tigers blanked Pinnacle 16-0 Friday in non-region softball play. McKinlee Curtis recorded a strikeout in one inning of work to earn the win in the circle for Milford.

Boys Soccer

3A First Round Playoffs

GRANTSVILLE, Utah-The No. 15 Grantsville Cowboys blanked No. 18 Summit Academy 3-0 Friday in the first round of the 3A boys soccer playoffs. The Cowboys next visit No. 2 Manti Wednesday at 4:00 pm in the second round of the state playoffs.

HERRIMAN, Utah-Seth Winter, Payton Serman and Kysler Kofford each scored and the No. 17 Emery Spartans upset No. 16 Providence Hall 4-3 in the first round of the 3A boys soccer playoffs Friday. Emery next visits No. 1 Ogden Wednesday at 4:00 pm in the second round of the state playoffs.

2A First Round Playoffs

DRAPER, Utah-Spencer Headlee scored twice and the No. 13 Draper APA Eagles downed  No. 20 Millard 4-1 Friday in the first round of the 2A state boys soccer playoffs. Kieran Chandara scored in the loss for the Millard Eagles. Draper APA next visits No. 4 St. Joseph Wednesday at 4:00 pm in the second round of the state playoffs.

SPANISH FORK, Utah-The No. 11 American Leadership Eagles routed No. 22 Telos 14-0 in the first round of the 2A state boys soccer playoffs Friday. The Eagles next visit No. 6 South Sevier Wednesday at 4:00 pm in the second round of the state playoffs.

RIVERDALE, Utah-Adam Thatcher, Giulio Danieli and Jason Carlisle each scored and the No. 18 Parowan Rams upset No. 15 Utah Military 3-2 Friday in the first round of the 2A state boys soccer playoffs. Oscar Kebker and Ian Patino each scored in the loss for the Thunderbirds. Parowan next visits No. 2 American Heritage Wednesday at 4:00 pm in the second round of the state playoffs.

BEAVER, Utah-Deagen Horner, Taft Griffiths and Leo de Leon each scored and the No. 14 Beaver Beavers blanked No. 19 San Juan 3-0 in the first round of the 2A state boys soccer playoffs Friday. Beaver next visits No. 3 Grand at 4:00 pm Wednesday in the second round of the state playoffs.

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah-The No. 12 APA West Valley Eagles routed No. 21 Wendover 8-0 Friday in the first round of the 2A state boys soccer playoffs. The Eagles next visit No. 5 Merit in the second round of the state playoffs Wednesday at 4:00 pm.
