NEPHI, Utah-Boston Roseman, Ty Marvin, Blane Christensen, Cole Neves, Brigzen Houser, Brandon Ruiz and Ruger Braithwaite drove in a run apiece and the Payson Lions downed Juab 7-4 Monday in non-region baseball play. Houser posted a strikeout in three innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Lions. Connor Cowan, Kai Hansen, Luke Marostica and Jimmy Larson drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Wasps.

GUNNISON, Utah-Molli Barney homered and the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs routed North Sevier 11-1 Monday in 2A Central softball play. Rylee Bartholomew posted eight strikeouts in 5.1 innings of work to earn the win in the circle for the Bulldogs. Payton Bailey drove in a run in defeat for the Wolves.

Boys Soccer

Region 12

RICHFIELD, Utah-Nixon Curtis scored twice and the Juab Wasps edged Richfield 3-2 in Region 12 boys soccer play Monday.

2A Central

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Eli Squire recorded five goals and the Intermountain Christian Lions pounded Wasatch Academy 7-1 Monday in 2A Central boys soccer play.
