(Salt Lake City, UT) — Funeral services were held yesterday for former Utah Congresswoman Mia Love. The 49-year-old died last month after a battle with brain cancer. She was remembered after her body lay in state Sunday at the Utah State Capitol Rotunda. Flags will remain at half-staff through sundown. Love was the first Black Republican woman in Congress and Utah’s first Black lawmaker.
