(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah has a new EPA administrator as President Trump appoints Cyrus Western to lead EPA Region 8. The region covers Utah, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, and 28 Indigenous tribes. Western previously served as Majority Whip in the Wyoming State House, where he worked on mineral, oil, gas, and wildlife issues.
