Frozen Rope Tournament @ Various Sevier County sites

SALINA, Utah-Rylan Frischknecht drove in three runs and North Sevier got past Millard 10-7 Friday at the Frozen Rope Tournament. Parker Jensen drove in two more runs in the win for the Wolves and James Crowley, Mason Pierce, McKay Foote and Tate Torgerson also drove in a run apiece in victory for North Sevier. Davis Malmgren posted five strikeouts in two innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Wolves. Zach Higgins, Branson Adams and Hunter Stott drove in two runs apiece in defeat for Millard. Bodie Memmott also drove in a run in the loss for the Eagles.

MONROE, Utah-Bigs Northrup homered and the South Sevier Rams blanked Delta 5-0 at the Frozen Rope Tournament Friday. Houston Blake drove in two runs for South Sevier and Kanyon Okerlund added another RBI in victory for the Rams. Ryker Freeman netted 13 strikeouts in six innings of work to secure the win on the mound for South Sevier.

MONROE, Utah-Kellen Lund homered and the Manti Templars routed Milford 12-0 Friday at the Frozen Rope Tournament at Ekker Field. Durke Larsen drove in two more runs in victory for Manti and Lane Cox, Colt Madsen, Zachary Blackham and Lance Umbrell drove in an additional run apiece in the win for the Templars. Chase Keisel posted a strikeout in five innings of work and earned the win on the mound for Manti.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Ty Stefanoff drove in four runs and the Delta Rabbits blanked Milford 8-0 at the Frozen Rope Tournament Friday at Richfield High School. Ashton Stefanoff and Mason Robinson added an additional RBI apiece in victory for the Rabbits. Hunt Robinson posted six strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Delta.

Desert Hills Open @ Desert Hills High School

ST. GEORGE, Utah-Zach Engemann drove in four runs and the Orem Tigers blanked Richfield 10-0 at the Desert Hills Open Friday. Blake Brotherson added three more RBI in victory for Orem. Parker Van Buren added another RBI in the win for the Tigers. Cole Engemann posted four strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Orem.

ST. GEORGE, Utah-Austin Brown homered and the Wasatch Wasps drilled Richfield 15-5 Friday at the Desert Hills Open. Blake Sweat and Grant Mahoney drove in three runs apiece in victory for the Wasps. Micah Dahl, Braxton Faller and Crew Baxter also drove in an additional run in the win for Wasatch. Bridger Shaw posted seven strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Wasps. Malik Fautin drove in two runs in the loss for the Wildcats. Hayden Reed added another RBI in the loss for Richfield.

Red Devil Invitational @ Grand High School

MOAB, Utah-Davin Orton’s game-winning RBI lifted Beaver to a 3-2 win over San Juan in eight innings at the Red Devil Invitational Friday. Ki Anzalone also drove in a run in the win for the Beavers. Anzalone was also attributed with the win on the mound for Beaver. Jake Ivins and Talon Mendoza each drove in a run in defeat for the Broncos.

MOAB, Utah-David Smith drove in two runs and the Beaver Beavers outlasted Emery 5-4 Friday at the Red Devil Invitational. Bodie Wheatley and Ki Anzalone drove in another run apiece in the win for the Beavers. Anzalone posted three strikeouts in 5.1 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Beaver. Bronx Olsen drove in two runs in the loss for the Spartans.

Arikka Anderson drove in two runs and Tylee Marshall added another RBI in victory for the Beavers. Brindee Carter posted three strikeouts in four innings of work to earn the win in the circle for Beaver. Paizlee Florence, Miley Willden and Gracie Dotson each had an RBI in the loss for the Tigers.
