EPHRAIM, Utah-Isaac Finlinson netted 23 points and 11 rebounds on 8-14 from the field and the No. 1 Snow Badgers outlasted No. 4 Salt Lake Community College 87-84 Friday to win the Scenic West Conference men’s basketball tournament semifinal against the Bruins at the Horne Activity Center.

Mark Brown added 20 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds on 6-10 from the field and 3-3 from range for the Badgers, who shot 51 percent from the field for the game.

Xavier Edmonds posted a game-high 34 points, along with 9 rebounds and 7 assists on 13-23 from the field and 3-3 behind the arc in defeat for the Bruins.

The Badgers will play for the Region 18 tournament championship Saturday at 3:00 pm against No. 2 Southern Idaho at the Horne Activity Center.
