KANAB, Utah-George Jensen homered and the Morgan Trojans downed Kanab 5-2 Thursday night at the Kanab Chuckwagon Classic at Kanab High School. Owen Gilson drove in another run in victory for Morgan. Cooper Anderson drove in a run in defeat for the Cowboys.

Dixie Fire-Up Tournament
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Ellie Leatham homered twice and Danica Everts recorded a grand slam as the Cedar Valley Aviators pounded Beaver 13-2 Thursday at the Dixie Fire-Up Tournament. Alexis Jenson also went yard in victory for the Aviators. Brenley Keele earned the win in the circle for the Aviators with four strikeouts in three innings of work. Aspyn Evans drove in a run in the loss for the Beavers.
ST. GEORGE, Utah-Taylee Ashworth drove in four runs and the Beaver Beavers got past Juan Diego 9-7 at the Dixie Fire-Up Tournament Thursday. Lily Wright also drove in a run for the Beavers in victory. Braylee Carter earned the win in the circle for the Beavers. Olivia Jewkes drove in two runs in the loss for the Soaring Eagle.
Non-Region
PAROWAN, Utah-Hannah Daniels homered and the Manti Templars pounded Parowan 19-3 in non-region softball play Thursday. Dakoda Cheney and Paislee Clark added three more RBI apiece in victory for the Templars. Chloe Olson drove in two more runs for Manti and Carlie Rasmussen, Aidali Orozco, Hallee Barnes and Avery Thompson added an RBI each in the win for the Templars. Orozco posted three strikeouts in two innings of work to earn the win in the circle for Manti. Taytem Allen drove in two runs in the loss for the Rams.
ENTERPRISE, Utah-Mylee Platt and Brynlon Nelson drove in two runs each and the Enterprise Wolves doubled up North Sanpete 10-5 Thursday in non-region softball play. Kynlee Reber earned the win in the circle for the Wolves. Autumn Oldroyd, Brooklyn Larson, Mylee Cook and Kaylie Robinson drove in a run apiece in the loss for the Hawks.
