(St. George, UT) — Utah is among the best states when it comes to property taxes. Finance website WalletHub ranked all 50 states and the District of Columbia based on property tax loads for its residents. The study took into account each state’s median home value, and how much taxes are paid on a home priced just over 300-thousand dollars. The Beehive State was tied for 7th in the study thanks to a low effective real estate tax rate. Hawaii was ranked first on the list.
