(Utah Co., UT) — Child sex abuse charges have been dropped against a former Utah therapist. Seventy-year-old David Lee Hamblin was accused of sexually abusing a young girl 30 years ago. The Utah County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation involved “ritualistic child sexual abuse.” The judge dropped the felony charges over concerns with the evidence. However Hamblin still faces charges in Sanpete County regarding the alleged abuse of a child.
