PRICE, Utah-Ty Mortensen’s 17 points and 8 rebounds on 7-11 from the field led the way as the Carbon Dinos celebrated a successful Senior Night by outlasting North Sanpete 59-58 Friday in Region 12 boys basketball play, concluding the regular season for both squads. McKay Schlappi netted 16 points and 8 rebounds on 4-8 from the field and 7-7 at the foul line in defeat for the Hawks.
CASTLE DALE, Utah-Austin Park netted 20 points and the Juab Wasps got past Emery 64-58 in Region 12 boys basketball play Friday. Jace Frandsen’s 19 points led the Spartans in defeat.
MANTI, Utah-Bronco Bundy’s 17 points led the way and the Delta Rabbits humbled Manti 68-60 Friday in Region 12 boys basketball play. Dax Anderson led the Templars with a game-high 25 points in the loss.
Region 15
GUNNISON, Utah-Buck Sargent posted 25 points and 14 rebounds and the North Summit Braves downed Gunnison Valley 59-49 in Region 15 boys basketball play Friday. Braxton Pickett’s game-high 28 points led the Bulldogs in defeat.
SALINA, Utah-The Duchesne Eagles edged North Sevier 49-46 Friday in Region 15 boys basketball play.
Region 18
PAROWAN, Utah-Stockton Roberts recorded 18 points and South Sevier stymied Parowan 53-43 in Region 18 boys basketball play Friday in the battle of the Rams. Tate Stubbs and Ty Stubbs had 16 points apiece for the Parowan Rams in the loss.
ENTERPRISE, Utah-Treyson Whitman led the way with 27 points and the Enterprise Wolves downed Beaver 61-57 Friday in Region 18 boys basketball play. Deegan Blackner led the Beavers in the loss with 27 points.
KANAB, Utah-Kyle Brown netted 28 points and the Kanab Cowboys stonewalled Millard 82-63 in Region 18 boys basketball play Friday. Brogan Blad led the Eagles with 14 points in defeat.
Non-Region
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Isaiah Harwell posted 25 points and the Wasatch Academy Tigers routed Cottonwood 90-63 Friday in non-region boys basketball play. John Rosevear led the Colts in defeat with 16 points.
MONTEZUMA CREEK, Utah-Will Myers netted 19 points and the Piute Thunderbirds downed Whitehorse 75-38 in non-region boys basketball play Friday. Hyatt Thomas led the Raiders in defeat with 14 points.

JUNCTION, Utah-Lamyia Benally posted 17 points and the Whitehorse Raiders downed Piute 51-37 Friday in non-region girls basketball play. Kazlee King led the Thunderbirds in defeat with 10 points.
