Region 20

ORDERVILLE, Utah-Daxton Miller netted 14 points and the Panguitch Bobcats downed Valley 59-49 Thursday in Region 20 boys basketball play. Jace Cox’s game-high 20 points led the Buffalos in the loss.

MILFORD, Utah-Sadler Barnes stepped up with 21 points and the Milford Tigers got past Wayne 57-53 in Region 20 boys basketball play Thursday. Blake Peterson and Braydon Lee netted 15 points apiece in defeat for the Badgers.

TROPIC, Utah-Brodee Montague stepped up with 20 points and the Piute Thunderbirds dismantled Bryce Valley 65-41 Thursday in Region 20 boys basketball play. Rustyn Chynoweth led the Mustangs in defeat with 13 points.

Girls Basketball

Region 12

MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Malia Schlappi posted 11 points and the North Sanpete Hawks edged Delta 49-48 in Region 12 girls basketball play Thursday. Joslyn Christiansen’s game-high 21 points led the Rabbits in the loss.

CEDAR CITY, Utah-Maya Nichols netted 19 points and the Canyon View Falcons dismantled Juab 58-43 Thursday in Region 12 girls basketball play. Hailee Hall led the Wasps in the loss with 11 points.

CASTLE DALE, Utah-Katelyn Nielson led the way with 23 points and the Emery Spartans waxed Manti 60-49 in Region 12 girls basketball play Thursday at the Spartan Center. June Olsen led the Templars in the loss with 21 points.

RICHFIELD, Utah-Abbee Albrecht posted 14 points and the Richfield Wildcats stymied Carbon 48-32 in Region 12 girls basketball play Thursday. Jacie Jensen led the Dinos with 12 points in defeat.

Region 18

BEAVER, Utah-Gentry Brown netted 20 points and the Beaver Beavers doubled up Water Canyon 52-26 Thursday in Region 18 girls basketball play. Martha Jessop and Alysha Cooke had 9 points apiece in defeat for the Wildcats.

PAROWAN, Utah-The Kanab Lady Cowboys clobbered Parowan 64-16 in Region 18 girls basketball play Thursday.

MONROE, Utah-The South Sevier Rams pummeled Millard 73-26 Thursday in Region 18 girls basketball play.
