CEDAR CITY, Utah-Cannon Mortensen netted 22 points and the Carbon Dinos downed Panguitch 61-51 Friday at the Hodson Classic at Canyon View High School. Remme Chappell and Burkley Dalton posted 14 points apiece in defeat for the Bobcats.
Beaver County Winter Classic
MILFORD, Utah-Deegan Blackner stepped up with 24 points and the Beaver Beavers humbled Rockwell 58-49 Friday at the Beaver County Winter Classic at Milford High School. Elias Sekona’s 14 points and 7 rebounds led the Marshals in defeat.
MILFORD, Utah-Sadler Barnes netted 21 points and the Milford Tigers clobbered Altamont 72-40 at the Beaver County Winter Classic Friday at Milford High School. Briggs Wall and Breyden Jessen had 13 points apiece in the loss for the Longhorns.
Non-Region
HERRIMAN, Utah-Mackson Bastian posted 21 points and 8 rebounds and the South Sevier Rams pummeled Providence Hall 78-60 in non-region boys basketball play Friday.
TABIONA, Utah-Dayton Giles recorded 22 points and the Tabiona Tigers waxed Wayne 57-46 Friday in non-region boys basketball play. Hunter Robins led the Badgers in the loss with 16 points.
GUNNISON, Utah-The Stansbury Stallions pounded Gunnison Valley 85-45 in non-region boys basketball play Friday.
JUNCTION, Utah-Kyle Brown stepped up with 22 points and the Kanab Cowboys hammered Piute 70-37 Friday in non-region boys basketball play. Will Myers led the Thunderbirds in the loss with 15 points.

Hodson Cancer Classic @ Canyon View High School
CEDAR CITY, Utah-The South Sevier Rams stonewalled Stansbury 54-28 Friday at the Hodson Cancer Classic at Canyon View High School. Addi Hansen led the Stallions in defeat with 9 points.
Region 20
JUNCTION, Utah-Amy Morgan stepped up with 14 points and the Piute Thunderbirds humbled Escalante 38-27 Friday in Region 20 girls basketball play. McCall Dunton led the Moquis in the loss with 11 points.
Non-Region
MT. PLEASANT, Utah-Evey Kendall’s 15 points and 5 rebounds led the way and the North Sanpete Hawks clipped Gunnison Valley 51-40 in non-region girls basketball play Friday. Rylee Bartholomew led the Bulldogs in the loss with 13 points.
DUCHESNE, Utah-Kira Grant netted 19 points and the Duchesne Eagles stonewalled Wayne 51-38 Friday in non-region girls basketball play. AJ VanDyke led the Badgers in defeat with 19 points.
