LOGAN, Utah-Monday, Utah State softball coach Steve Johnson announced the addition of Erin Kuba to the 2019 signing class for the Aggies.
Kuba, a Cedar Falls, Iowa native, comes to the Aggies from the junior college ranks at Indian Hills Community College of Ottumwa, Iowa.
Kuba is also a four-year letter-winner from Jefferson High School of Cedar Rapids.
This season, Kuba helped the Lady Warriors to a record of 46-12, batting .422 and leading the squad with 23 doubles, two triples and 13 home runs.
After claiming the league championship title, Kuba concluded the season as the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference Player of the year, earning first-team all-region honors. This was her second all-region honor as she was named to the 2nd team as a freshman in 2017.
Kuba is one of eight Aggies in this class which will be official in the fall: Kenzie Bolin of San Marcos, Calif., Gabriella Jimenez of Sacramento, Calif., Chloe Nightingale of Camarillo, Calif., Lexi Orozco of San Marcos, Calif., Hannah Sisul of Oregon City, Ore., Emily Tidd of Temecula, Calif. and Kapri Toone of Tremonton, Utah.
