A new outdoor rodeo arena is coming to Mt. Pleasant. The plan is for the outdoor arena to be built next to the Contoy Arena. Earlier this year the city received a $300,000 grant from the Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity. A second grant is expected to be awarded at a later date. Construction is in progress.
