1A State Championship @ Gates Field (Kearns High School)
KEARNS, Utah-Camden Englestead drove in three runs and the No. 1 Panguitch Bobcats routed No. 4 Piute 13-3 Saturday in the 1A state championship game at Gates Field at Kearns High School. Quade Veater, Taycen Ramsay and Burkley Dalton drove in two additional runs apiece for the Bobcats in the win. Bridger Chappell, Remme Chappell and Maddix Johnson drove in an additional run each for Panguitch in the decisive victory. Daxton Miller posted nine strikeouts in six innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bobcats. Blake Dalton drove in a run in the loss for the Thunderbirds. Panguitch ended their season at 26-1 and recorded their 10th all-time state championship in boys baseball. Panguitch has boys baseball state championships in
