CEDAR CITY, Utah-Griffin Wayman (16-21, 198 yards, 4 TD’s) and Malik Fautin (6 rec, 106 yards, 3 TD’s) each recorded solid performances and the Richfield Wildcats clobbered Canyon View 42-10 Friday in 3A South football play. Wayman also ran for a score and Gage Yardley returned an interception 14 yards for a touchdown in the rout for Richfield. The Wildcats outgained the Falcons 391-155 on the evening. Jace Floyd ran 18 yards for a score and Asher Slack made a 22-yard field goal in the loss for Canyon View. Shane Pearson added an interception in the win for Richfield.
MANTI, Utah-Maison Starkweather threw five touchdown passes and the Manti Templars pounded North Sanpete 47-10 Friday in 3A South football play. Starkweather and Mason Carter also ran for scores in the win for Manti. Isaiah Wright ran for a score and Rafael Contreras made a 22-yard field goal in defeat for the Hawks.
PRICE, Utah-Beau Halverson threw two touchdown passes and the Juab Wasps blitzed Carbon 48-6 Friday in 3A South football play. Brock Richards ran for two scores and Price Armstrong added another touchdown run for the Wasps. Payton Myers returned an interception 19 yards for another score in the win for Juab. Luke Brady and Landon Bradley each made a 42-yard field goal in the loss for the Dinos.
2A South
BLANDING, Utah-Jagger Nieves ran for four scores and the San Juan Broncos pulverized Delta 63-10 Friday in 2A South football play. Hunt Robinson threw a 32-yard touchdown pass to Connor Pruitt. Patrick Harrison added a 12-yard field goal in the loss for Delta.
1A North
GUNNISON, Utah-Rylan Frischknecht threw a 34-yard touchdown pass to Cameron Wahlquist and the North Sevier Wolves bested Gunnison Valley 24-15 Friday in 1A North football play. Cody Serrano (60-yard punt return) and Quincy Lofgran (7-yard touchdown run) also scored for the Wolves. Talan Dyreng threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to Landry Edwards and Daxton Knudsen ran 3 yards for another score in the loss for the Bulldogs. Luis Serravelle added a 25-yard field goal in defeat for Gunnison Valley.
COALVILLE, Utah-Jake Smith threw two touchdown passes and ran for two scores as the North Summit Braves routed Millard 48-17 Friday in 1A North football play. Kaden Turner threw two touchdown passes to Preston Sanchez in the loss for the Eagles. Sergio Arellano added a 27-yard field goal in the loss for Millard.
1A South
MILFORD, Utah-Deagen Horner, Davin Orton, Bodie Wheatley and Andrew Hollingshead each ran for scores and the Beaver Beavers edged Milford 28-27 Friday in 1A South football play. Judd Netto, Kilo Tsosie and Colton Barnes ran for scores for Milford. Boston Sullivan returned an interception 66 yards for another score in the loss for the Tigers.

MONROE, Utah-Kanyon Okerlund threw a touchdown pass and ran for another score and the South Sevier Rams outlasted Rich 35-27 Friday in non-region football play. Chase Spackman and Boston Palmer each ran for scores in the win for the Rams. Carter Hoffman threw three touchdown passes in the loss for the Rams.
DUCHESNE, Utah-Brogen Virostko threw two touchdown passes and the Kanab Cowboys dismantled Duchesne 36-20 Friday in non-region football play. Rider Allen, Hayden Gubler and Preston Brown each ran for scores in the win for the Cowboys. Nashden Goodliffe threw two touchdown passes and ran for another score in the loss for the Eagles.

1A State Semifinals @ Gates Field (Kearns High School)
KEARNS, Utah-Maddix Johnson drove in a run and the No. 1 Panguitch Bobcats edged No. 2 Bryce Valley 3-2 Friday in the 1A state semifinals at Gates Field at Kearns High School. Quade Veater posted 10 strikeouts in seven innings of work to earn the win on the mound for the Bobcats. Klincey Richards and Rodolfo Perez each drove in a run in the loss for the Mustangs. Panguitch next plays No. 4 Piute Saturday at 12:00 pm in the 1A baseball finals at Gates Field.
KEARNS, Utah-Tavin Jessen and Julian Mar each drove in two runs apiece and the No. 4 Piute Thunderbirds waxed No. 2 Bryce Valley 5-1 in the 1A state semifinals at Gates Field at Kearns High School Friday. Braige Beus also drove in a run in the win for the Thunderbirds. Blake Dalton recorded 13 strikeouts in 6.2 innings of work to earn the win on the mound for Piute. Rodolfo Perez drove in a run in defeat for the Mustangs.
