POCATELLO, Idaho-Wednesday morning, Kanab High School senior football star Wyatt Orton announced a commitment to play for the Idaho State Bengals of the Big Sky Conference.

The 6-6, 304-pound Orton is a three-sport star for the Cowboys, excelling in football, boys basketball and baseball.

On the gridiron, the two-way lineman has excelled as a tackle and center and has three tackles for a loss and 20 total tackles (14 solo stops) thus far this season for the 5-3 (2-1 in 1A South play) Cowboys.

Kanab visits Duchesne Friday in a non-region tilt as the Cowboys seek to remain in the upper echelon of the 1A RPI ahead of the state playoffs.
