Historic Military Vehicle Stolen In Garfield County

Officials are seeking the public’s help after a historic Half-track military vehicle was stolen in Garfield County over the weekend. The vehicle was removed from the Boulder Mountain Row Lakes area between June 21 and June 22. According to a press release “the Half-track was one of 15,414 made by the White Motor Co. for the Department of Defense between 1939 and 1943.” The vehicle is part of a historic archaeological site determined to be eligible for the National Register of Historic Places.
