Gunnison Valley’s police chief has been placed on leave while he is under investigation. According to Sanpete County Attorney Kevin Daniels, a small investigation into Chief Seth Hendrickson took place starting May 29 to see if a more in depth investigation was needed. It was determined that a full investigation was needed and Hendrickson was placed on leave. According to Daniels, officials in Utah County are handling the investigation and if charges are necessary, the Utah County Attorney’s Office will handle the prosecution.
